Every student at this school matters. We want them to enjoy their time at Aylsham High and to know that if they have a problem it will be dealt with. We hope that you will like what you see at Aylsham High and enjoy finding out as much as you can. Although extremely proud of our school we are never complacent and are always seeking to improve. We hope that you will feel able to contact us at any time to let us know of any concerns or suggestions you may have. We will endeavour to provide every opportunity for your child to achieve to their potential and ensure that you receive regular information regarding their progress. We will invite you to Parents Evenings to update you on progress and each year will invite you to attend our Academic Review Day to have a discussion with your child’s Form Tutor and jointly agree some targets for them. We aim to offer opportunities for you to find out more about how and what your child will be learning and how you will be able to support them at home. We hope that you will agree that we have implemented some very fair procedures to reward good work and behaviour and to manage poor behaviour or reluctance to make an effort to achieve. We will provide opportunities beyond the curriculum to further inspire and motivate your child and will encourage them to develop interests that they will be able to continue throughout their lives. We will invite you to Awards Evenings, Music and Drama productions and other events to celebrate achievement.
