Students have a blast at Thorpe Park!

Year 10 Business Studies students recently visited Thorpe Park, in preparation for their unit of marketing and communication. We were greeted by the Education Officer, who took us into the ‘Thrills’ building for an educational talk. We made notes and collected the correct information in order to complete our course work, after which the students were eager to go and explore the park. We made more notes and collected leaflets and posters which would be relevant to our section of our unit ‘marketing’. While collecting this information, some of the students were fortunate enough to meet ‘Only way is Essex’ stars Joey Essex and Sam Faiers. Unfortunately the biggest ‘Only way’ fan, Joanna Maxwell, searched all over the park, and to her disappointed did not meet him even though other students claimed to have seen him approximately three times. Overall, a great day was had, and we are very thankful to the efficient student organisers, Ellie Cleaver, Ellen Lincoln, Joanna Maxwell and bus organiser (we wouldn’t have got there without him) Alex Karop!

Also, many thanks to the teachers to gave up their time to support us for this trip, Mrs Auber, Mr Turrell, Mr Doyle, Miss Shanahan and Miss Meadows.
