The annual “Race for Life” took place on Saturday 19th May 2012 at the Norfolk Show ground, in aid of Cancer Research. For the second consecutive year Ellie Cleaver and Shannon Wiseman, both year 11 students, took part dressed as a Camel. Chloe Gowen and Daisy Clarke ran ahead to reach the finish line, just before ‘Camilla’ the camel impressively ran over the line to rapturous applause in just under an hour. On Friday the girls wore the camel suit around school at lunchtime collecting any loose change from students and even entering the staffroom!! They raised £45 which will go to the Cancer Research charity.
Well done girls on another huge success and good luck with all your GCSE exams.
