Year 9 student runner up at Broadland Community Awards

Year 9 student runner up at Broadland Community Awards

The Broadland Community at Heart Awards are a set of awards given to people who are greatly appreciated and recognised throughout the community for something they have done or achieved. This could be an amazing sporting achievement or being an inspiration to the community. The award I was a finalist for was sporting achievement of the year, I was nominated for my achievements in karate. I was the runner up in my category, however it was great that both the winner and the runner up represented two different styles of karate. At the end of the day karate is the winner.

I think the awards are a great way to become recognised throughout the community for something you have trained for your entire life.
