Chips Ahoy!

Food & Nutrition GCSE students enjoyed taking part in ‘Ready Steady Cook’ workshops hosted by the Royal Navy’s Catering Service. 
Students heard an entertaining presentation about a range of careers in the Navy, including working as a chef.  Then, in Great British Bake Off style, they were given time, ingredients and instructions to produce a delicious chicken risotto and sticky toffee pudding. Their creations were blind-tasted by a team of judges and the winning team were awarded Royal Navy branded T shirts.  Thank you to Matt and Craig from @RoyalNavy and @AHSFoodies  for a great day.
