Camping Breck Farm (Residential)
Camping is a tough physical activity that requires stamina, determination, cooperation with your peers and a sense of fun. All students arrive at AHS on Monday, 18 July 2022 at 8.45am, then walk to Tesco accompanied by staff to purchase their food for the week, which will be pre-organised in cooking groups. The bus will leave school at approximately 11:30am to travel to the campsite and we will return to school at approximately 3.20pm on Friday, 22nd July.
We will be camping at Breck Farm. You will be given guidance on setting up your tent and will participate in activities including planning, buying and cooking your own meals, chopping wood, lighting camp fires, survival skills, team building skills, hiking and travelling to towns/shops on the North Norfolk steam railway. Students are not allowed in the sea at any time. In addition to the organised activities, there will be plenty of opportunities for games and relaxation on the campsite. One evening we shall have takeaway pizzas for the evening meal.
