New to Aylsham Sports Hub this summer - Exclusive Big Norfolk Holiday Fun places

We are introducing 2 new activities to our summer offer in partnership with Big Norfolk Holiday Fun - youth gym sessions and SEND parent and child swimming sessions.  Please note, these activities are exclusively available to families who are eligible for free places through Big Norfolk Holiday Fun.

Youth Gym Sessions: Wednesday 29th July, Friday 31st July, Wednesday 5th August, Friday 7th August, Wednesday 12th August, Friday 14th August, Wednesday 19th August, Friday 21st August

SEND Swim Sessions: Friday 31st July, Friday 7th August, Friday 14th August, Friday 21st August

Big Norfolk Holiday Fun Youth Gym Session

Join us for a high-energy youth gym session which is balanced, structured and movement focused. Helping young people to meet their need for 60 minutes of daily physical activity focusing on aerobic endurance and bone-strengthening movements. Teamed with access to our spin facility there will be professionals on hand to guide you every step of the way. All participants will receive an induction at the start of the session to provide them with useful safety instructions as well as operating guidance. This is a fantastic opportunity to try out our gym facility in a safe, supervised setting. Open to 12 - 16 year olds.  Sessions run from 2pm to 5pm, with food provided.

Big Norfolk Holiday Fun SEND swimming session

A Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) swimming session providing a calm, sensory-friendly environment. Our session is tailored to build water confidence, improve motor skills, and allow swimmers to progress at their own pace in a quiet setting. This is a supervised session where one child place admits one supervisory adult. A great opportunity for parents to enjoy the pool environment with their child to play games and have fun in a relaxing setting. Following the pool session, an arts and craft activity will take place in one of
our classrooms to give participants something to take home with them.  Aged 4 to 12 years with a parent/carer aged 18+.  Sessions will run from 10am to 12noon and food will be provided.

The Big Norfolk Holiday Fun (BNHF) programme offers holiday activities for children and young people aged 4–16 across Norfolk. It is delivered in partnership with Norfolk County Council and funded by the UK Government.
