Aylsham High School Presents: Britney’s Lock
We are thrilled to announce that Aylsham High School is participating in Connections, the National Theatre’s prestigious nationwide youth theatre festival.
Each year, the National Theatre commissions a portfolio of new plays inspired by the voices and stories of young people across the UK. This year, our talented students will be performing:
"Britney’s Lock" by Alexandra Wood
The story follows a character named Ruby who acquires a lock of hair from Britney Spears to use as a "relic" to help her remain calm during her GCSE exams. While her friends initially dismiss the item, they soon become obsessed with its supposed power, with each wanting a piece of it until the lock is ultimately destroyed. This production celebrates the creativity and dedication of our cast, who have worked tirelessly to bring this modern story to life.
