When is the gym open?
What kit do you have?
We have a range of fantastic kit which has been supplied by international gym specialists Precor.
How much does membership cost?
Will the gym be staffed by qualified instructors?
Yes, we will have qualified instructors available during gym opening times.
Are personal training sessions available?
This is something we will be looking to introduce in the near future.
Will I have an induction?
We understand that our new members will have a range of gym experience, therefore an induction may not be necessary for all. If you choose not to have an induction session, you will be required to sign a declaration form to confirm that you have read our gym guidelines and safety notice. If you would like to book an induction session, these are regularly available and can be booked on Clubright.
Will instructors provide me with a fitness programme to follow?
A fitness programme will not be provided as standard, however, we will very soon be introducing opportunities to work with one of our qualified gym instructors to create a programme suitable for your needs for an additional nominal fee.
Are the gym and spin studio air-conditioned?
Yes, both the gym and the spin studio benefit from air conditioning to ensure that you are able to work out in a comfortable environment.
Is the facility staffed at all times?
Yes, staff will be available at the gym for the duration of the opening times.
What changing facilities are available?
There are spacious changing rooms available, along with lockers and toilets.
Are there showers?
Yes, showers are available in the gym building.
Are there facilities for people with disabilities?
Yes, our gym facility has excellent inclusive facilities, which include a separate toilet with shower for gym members with disabilities.
Can young people under 18 attend the gym unaccompanied?
Young people aged 16 and over can visit the gym unaccompanied. Youth membership entitles young people aged 14-15 to use the gym unaccompanied during instructor supervised youth sessions from 3.30pm to 5pm Monday to Friday. Young people aged 14-15 are additionally entitled to use the gym on weekdays from 5pm to 6pm and all day on Sunday, but they must be accompanied by an adult who is also a member of the gym during these times.
