Normandy, France (Residential)
A fantastic opportunity to spend a week in Normandy, France having a fabulous time with your friends whilst totally immersing yourself in the French language and culture in this beautiful setting by the sea. Both Mrs Green and Mr. Ravasse have visited the Château with school groups on several occasions and the students have always had a great time. A combination of enjoyable activities at the magnificent Château de la Baudonnière such as archery, watersports, assault courses combined with opportunities to visit and explore some Normandy highlights and attractions will give you the confidence to practise your French in an entirely authentic context. In the evenings, you will be entertained with offerings such as a talent show and a “soirée française” where there will be prizes for the best French-themed costumes. You will enjoy freshly prepared French meals and will have the opportunity to try many “spécialités de la région.” We will travel by coach and Ferry from Portsmouth to Caen, leaving very early on the Monday morning and returning on Friday evening. You will of course need a valid passport. More information about the château can be found on the website www.the-chateau.com
