Aylsham High School is now in their second year as a centre of excellence for financial education and the credit system introduced last year. The idea was to simulate a bank where the students can earn credits, save them up and then spend them on their chosen reward. To ensure students gain a good work ethic in the process, we award credits for having good attendance, working effectively in lessons, producing an outstanding piece of work and by giving up their own time to help out the school. Many students have been saving their credits to spend them on the end of year BBQ which takes place in July. We thought this year it might be nice for students to be able to spend some of these credits earlier by attending a Christmas Party, with a film and party food. This was held last Friday.  In previous years this was funded by the generosity of the Aylsham community and we would like to thank Wrights Coaches (Matthew Wright) once again for his generosity. We are always looking for new sponsors if you would be interested in sponsoring this event or future rewards events please contact twiseman@aylshamhigh.norfolk.sch.uk we have already expanded the rewards to include access to the schools sporting facilities and allowing year 11 students to win a free prom ticket. Well done to all our students for working so hard within the school, and being able to take advantage of these rewards.
