Day trippers is a week packed with fun and adventure! The week will include watching a newly released film at the Odeon cinema (popcorn will be provided!), and hopefully scoring a strike or two at Hollywood Bowl.  There will be a visit to Banham Zoo. Also included is a day in Norwich where you can battle it out at Quasar and then enjoy lunch at Pizza Express.  We will spend a day at the seaside (Great Yarmouth) with arcades, beach games and ice cream followed by swimming at the Marina Centre.  To top it off, we'll take you to Pleasurewood Hills at the end of the week.  Are you brave enough for Wipeout?!  This activity will run daily and will leave school at 8.50am and return at approximately 3.15pm.  You will need to bring appropriate clothing for each activity and a packed lunch.

Routines 

• Meet your group leader in the Sports Hall every morning as soon as you arrive at school, 8:45am at the latest!
• Bring packed lunch every day (those who are allocated a free school meal can collect from their group leader each morning – please let us know any dietary requirements).  

*Please note that lunch is included at Zizzis and at Pleasurewood Hills.

• Bring suitable clothing and sun protection: sun hat / sun cream / raincoat
• Make sure you have any medication you need (inhaler/epipen etc)
• You can bring a small amount of money to buy extra drinks / snacks at most venues.
• All mobile phones and valuables are YOUR responsibility!

Behaviour 

• You are representatives of Aylsham High School so we expect you to be polite, respectful and aware of others around you at all times. 
• Be SAFE – especially near roads/traffic
• Please arrive each day wearing appropriate clothes (eg: NO crop tops, hot pants, short skirts, high heels etc). 

• NEVER go off alone: you should always be in groups of three or four. 
• ALWAYS report promptly for scheduled roll calls throughout the day. 
• Look out for each other! This should be a fantastic week and we are all responsible for ensuring everyone enjoys it! 

Please note: If anyone does not meet AHS expectations during the week, they will have to stay at school the following day(s). We will be unable to issue refunds in these circumstances.

Marina Centre (swimming)  

Please bring with you:

• Swimming costume/shorts (your swimwear should be appropriate for a school visit!)
• A towel 
• Hair brush / comb
• Separate bag for your wet clothes and towel

The treats are on us!

• We have arranged for ice creams in Gt Yarmouth and popcorn/drink at the Odeon cinema. If you have any dietary requirements that mean you need a different snack, please let your group leader know as soon as possible.
